Staging for Hire
Dalry Town Hall management committee has replaced the old stage at the town hall with a new, lightweight portable Metrodeck Staging System from Maltbury Staging, one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of stage equipment.
The new stage is available in a variety of sizes, with the option of four different height legs and also includes storage dollies, four hand rails, two set of steps and two sizes of front valence.
The stage comprises eleven (11) units of decking @ 2m x 1m, and two (2) units @ 1m x 1m.
(Nine (9) 2m x 1m units will provide a stage of 6m wide x 3m in depth)
Lightweight alloy scaffolding tube are used for legs, are available in heights of 200mm. 400mm, 600mm and 800mm. These are attached to the decking frame with an integral locking nut, requiring no tool assembly. The legs are fitted with rubber feet to prevent damage to floors, allowing easy positioning of multiple units
The decks can be used without legs, providing a low level stage 110mm high.
The decking frame is made of steel, powdered painted black, with an 18mm birch ply top, again painted black.
Each 2m x 1m unit is rated to take a load of 3.5kn tonnes per square metre.
Four (4) 1m Guard rails are available where required.
As well as conventional stages, the system is so versatile it can also be used for fashion show catwalks, craft fairs, tiered seating rostra, drum or instrument risers, PA and sound equipment support.
The system comes with wheeled dollies for the decks and wheeled storage boxes for the legs, making the whole system readily transportable and easy to set up. Disabled People Facilities
We have a disabled and handicaped persons entrance at the side of the hall, complete with hand-rails and wheel-chair ramp and we also have special toilet facilities.
There will always be hall staff and/or the event organisers about to help in case of dificulty during any event.

Farmers Market
The Farmers Market which started in February 2007 has proven to be such a success, it will now take place monthly on the second Saturday of each month until further notice
This is advertised on the new poster boards as well as in many local shops around the region.Look out for the posters
